BIG
SPRING -- Police are awaiting autopsy results from a 4-month-old Big Spring boy.
Isaiah
Lee Valdez was found in a hot car Friday and was later pronounced dead at Scenic
Mountain Medical Center.
Big
Spring police Lt. Terry Chamness said police expect to present the case to the
Howard County District Attorney's Office this week.
Police
say the mother, Jamie Valdez, 20, had taken her other children safely inside the
home and called 911 when she discovered Isaiah was still in the car. Police are
unsure how long he'd been there.
It was
97 degrees in Big Spring early Friday morning.
